I’ve always believed that the best things in life sit just on the other side of a decision
That moment where you’re standing there, heart ticking a bit faster, running through the “what ifs” in your head. You can stay where you are, or you can step forward and see what happens next.
That’s the head space I was in the afternoon when I went paragliding.
Standing on the Scarborough Cliffs, Christchurch spread out below me, I felt the nerves, but underneath it all, I knew exactly what needed to happen.
Make the move.
As soon as my feet left the ground, the whole perspective changed. The city looked different from above. Full of opportunity. It struck me how often that happens when you move. Once you commit, things open up. You realise you were ready all along.
That feeling is exactly what ‘Made to Move You’ means to me.
Why Movement Matters
I meet so many Kiwis who are capable, ambitious, and ready for more, yet stuck in the pause before the move. Waiting for the perfect moment. Waiting for everything to line up. Waiting for certainty in the market.
What I’ve learned, in business and in life, is that everything grows once you’re in motion. Confidence builds through action. You don’t stand still and suddenly feel ready. You move, and readiness meets you there.

Jumping off and paragliding was, I guess, a metaphor for trust. Trust in preparation and judgement. Trust in stepping forward even if you’re a bit nervous.
