Four avenues is Made to Move You. 10 Minutes from Anywhere.
Quite literally.
Made to Move You is
about more than a tagline. It's a test.
Not a brochure promise. Not a glossy render with a lifestyle model holding a coffee. An actual, clock-running, Land Rover-driving test of what it means to live in the middle of everything.
So George and Mikey grabbed the keys and put Christchurch to the test. Start in the central city, drive to our developments, stop at the good stuff along the way, and time everything. No cheating. (Except for one coffee. You'll see.)
The question we were answering: when we say our homes are 10 minutes from anywhere, do we actually mean it?
Spoiler: yes.
We covered three developments across three different corners of the city.
Whitmore Lane, sitting right on the corner of two of Christchurch's Four Avenues.
Forsyth Street in Spreydon, one of those suburbs that quietly gets on with it.
And Randolph Street in Woolston, on the other side of the city entirely.
Three developments. Three different corners of Christchurch. All within the kind of drive that doesn't require a playlist.
What the drive actually proved isn't just that the numbers stack up. It's that living centrally in Christchurch feels different.
Your mornings are easier. Your weekends open up. The city becomes yours in a way it doesn't when you're 40 minutes out. Christchurch is compact enough that location genuinely changes how you live, not just how long you sit in traffic. And when Four Avenues talks about being 10 minutes from anywhere, we're not rounding down or picking the best-case scenario.
We're talking about stadiums, parks, cafés, and the CBD, all within reach of wherever you wake up.
That brings us to something worth understanding about how Four Avenues actually works, because it shapes everything.
The location decision comes first. Before the design. Before the build. Before anything else gets decided. George and Mikey aren't hunting for cheap land on the fringe and hoping buyers will follow. They're walking suburbs, watching where the city is moving, sitting with a street long enough to understand what it feels like at 7am on a Tuesday and 2pm on a Saturday. They're asking whether this place will make sense for the person who lives here, not just on settlement day, but five, ten, twenty years from now.
Made to Move You isn’t about convenience or short commutes, though it's that too.
It's a belief that the right move, made at the right time, in the right place, changes the shape of your life.
That momentum is something you can build into a home from the very beginning, if you're paying attention to the right things. Four Avenues pays attention to those things before most buyers even know to ask about them.
So when you buy a Four Avenues home, you're not just getting a well-built townhouse in a good location. You're getting the result of a decision that was made with your life in mind, long before you walked through the door. The location was chosen for you. The design was considered for you. And the wholeeeee thing was built around the idea that where you live should open your life up, not close it down.
That's the promise. And last week, we drove it.
Made to Move You to 10 Minutes from Anywhere.
